  The best hay, the tifton rolls at 60 to 65 dollars per, are the best mix of hay my horses ever loved. They get muscle and get full timmies, on this hay. I get o & a pasture blocks of 500# and then a few rolls if tifton and the herd is happy. Funny thing is they prefer to eat the tifton before the orchard and alfalfa block. Go figure.. so I guess it tastes better. So if your horse is an easy keeper don't bother with the expensive stuff, buy the tifton hay over coastal for sure, and use it as a filler to the much more expensive hays. It will save you in your wallet in the long run and keep happy fat horses.
